Description

The System Logs module provides a centralized audit trail of all significant activities performed within the system. It records user actions across modules, enabling administrators to monitor usage, track changes, and support security audits and compliance requirements.

1. Page Overview

What are System Logs?

System Logs are detailed records of actions performed by users within the application. Each log entry captures what action was taken, where it occurred, who performed it, and when it happened.

  • Automatically generated by the system
  • Read-only for audit integrity
  • Covers all major system actions
  • Essential for security and compliance audits

2. Filter Section

The filter section allows users to quickly locate specific log entries.

Sort Order

5. View Log Details

Clicking the View icon allows users to see additional details related to the log entry.

Details May Include:

  • Full action description
  • Timestamp
  • User information
  • Affected module and entity

🔒 Note: Logs are non-editable to maintain audit integrity.


6. Compliance & Security Notes

  • System logs are mandatory for statutory and internal audits
  • Logs cannot be edited or deleted by users
  • Access is typically restricted to admin roles
  • Retention policy may apply based on organizational settings
